Gary Fisher – CEO

Over thirty years experience in textiles has enabled Gary to build Papini to a successful company supplying promotional and corporate companies nationwide.

Gary started his career as a trainee production manager working for an M & S manufacturer in N. Ireland. Gary soon moved to a large production unit in Italy as production manager. Whilst learning to negotiate in Italian he mastered the manufacturing, buying and selling processes in both Italy and China.
One of his main roles was sourcing production for M & S in China. It was this experience that ensured Gary achieved success and was targeted by one of the main suppliers for M & S on his return to London in 1980.
After 15 years supplying M & S Gary moved to Yorkshire to seek a new challenge.

1996 saw the creation of Papini.

Gary’s passion for improving all aspects of production and quality within Papini have seen him strive to build his own factory in China which gives total control of all garments that are made by Papini. He frequently travels to China to ensure that these standards are maintained.

Fluent in Italian and currently studying Mandarin, Gary is a driven, passionate family man who is committed to continuously improving the Papini brand to give all customers quality and value with cutting edge design and service.
